Wow! We are already into January 2010! We have been busy making friends, exploring nature, learning to read and writing stories. How the time does fly! We will be finishing up the year on nature. Our units for April, May, and June include the rainforest, sound, insects, birds, and sealife. Our time is short but packed with much excitement.!

Open enrollment for the LASER Extended Kindergarten program to be announced soon!
LASER does require your attendance at the Laurelhurst Elementary School Open House or at one of the scheduled School Visits listed below in order to enroll in the LASER Extended Kindergarten program. February 10th (Wednesday)-Kindergarten specific, 6:30pm-8:30pm, beginning in the Laurelhurst School library.
Laurelhurst Elementary School School Visits:

February 25th (Thursday)-9:30-11:15am, beginning in the school library.

March 4th (Thursday)-9:30-11:15am, beginning in the school library.

March 9th (Tuesday)-9:30-11:15am, beginning in the school libary.

March 17th (Wednesday)-9:30-11:15am, beginning in the school library.
No reservations necessary; no children please. The Library is on the 2nd floor .
